DIAZINON UPDATE

Diazinon based products – registrations cancelled as of 10th September

As many clients would have read or heard, the AVPMA will be cancelling Diazinon product registrations and label approvals from the 10th September, 2025 onwards.

Diazinon – as with many long standing active ingredients in agricultural & farming products, has undergone regulatory reviews over the journey. The AVPMA governs all registrations of products in farming, vet & pet.

From a timing viewpoint, it is legal to supply, possess and use Diazinon based products before 10th September, 2025. From the 10th September onwards, it will be illegal for retailers like us to supply Diazinon based products, as it is for farmers to possess and use Diazinon based products.

We sell a number of widely used products in including Patriot Insecticide Ear Tags for Cattle and Co-Ral Plus Insecticide Cattle Ear Tags which we do have of supply of and can supply whilst stocks last. Like all retailers we will not stock or supply from 10th September.

Given how widely old and used Patriot Insecticide Ear Tags for Cattle and Co-Ral Plus Insecticide Cattle Ear Tags are by cattle producers we encourage anyone looking to purchase and importantly use these products by the 9th September 2025.

There are a number of products such as Flystrike Powders that are already sold out and will not be manufactured or supplied anymore.
